THE DIGEST

Last week was all about spookiness and family fun - we hope you made the most of all of the Halloween themed events (we know we did!!)

Here are a few moments/events of the past week that we would like to highlight:

• The Foodbank in Stratford is launching a campaign to raise enough money to allow for a book token for children to be included in each of its Christmas hampers - the team need to raise £3000 to be able to provide a £5 book token in each.

• Congratulations to Stratford Boat Club’s Women’s Masters who made a great start to their head season, securing 2nd place at the Gloucester Autumn Head!

• Finally, we would like to take a moment to remember the firefighters who lost their lives 17 years ago, on 2nd November 2007, at a major fire in Atherstone on Stour - Ashley Stephens, Darren Yates-Badley, John Averis and Ian Reid - may we always remember them.
