THE DIGEST

Never a dull week in Stratford - whether you enjoyed the beer festival at St Andrews Church in Shottery, or picked up a pumpkin at Lower Clopton Farm Shop, I’m sure you made the most of what our town has to offer! (And don’t worry if you missed out, that’s what you’ve got us for now!!)

Here’s a few noteworthy moments to highlight from the past week:

• Congratulations to Debbie Barrow, of Stratford-upon-Avon’s Table Tennis Club who won the ladies 40s consolation event at the Midland Masters in Wolverhampton! 🏆

• Sad news from Veeno in Bell Court, who have made the difficult decision to close their doors as of Monday 21st October. This serves as a harsh reminder of how important it is to support all of the businesses in our town, and we hope that everyone impacted by this closure is doing okay 😔

• It’s been announced that additional workers are being brought in to speed up the works on the Birmingham Road, so we should hopefully see traffic return to normal sometime in November 🤞

A final note from us - this Friday sees the return of The Mop, your last chance to enjoy the fair this year! We love The Mop, and the nostalgia and joy it brings for lots of us, but if you have the chance, let’s remember to show our support for the businesses that are hidden from view when the fair is in town!
